The kids had a great week off from school. They played with friends, worked on a storyboard project for school, took Christmas card pictures despite the wind, played tons of Wii, and slept as late as possible each day. We spent Thanksgiving Day in Birmingham with Bubbe's cousins and their families. Cole and Mary Conlee had fun riding a golf cart, go cart, and playing frisbee golf. That appears to be Cole and Judd's newest sport!
We all went to the lake for the weekend. Bubbe and Pop kept the kids so Judd and I could go to Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl. While in Tuscaloosa, we ran into Susy, one of my best friends from middle and high school. It was great catching up with her! We went on to the game where we enjoyed the HUGE victory over the Auburn Tigers. Sorry, Crab!
We were back to the lake for one more night and then home to Tupelo. Judd had his final play practices leading up to his role in Tupelo Community Theater's production of "Tuna Christmas." We enjoyed our time together as a family and are grateful for our many blessings.
Playing at the mall with Causey and Bounds
Cole thought he was way too big for the mall play area! What to do? Pull out the electronics. Like mother, like son!
