One of Judd's co-workers at Novartis is a Lieutenant Commander in the Army Reserve. He pilots the Black Hawk helicopters. He has spent time overseas serving our country. Judd enjoys hearing his tales of life as a pilot. He promised Judd that he would do a flyover of our house tonight on his way to the airport from Oxford. So, we all waited out in the cold to see this massive helicopter hover above the house. The sun had already set, but Judd was determined to have him see us, so he used his mag light as a flare! About 7:50, Mr. Ron came over the house, circled around us, and flashed his spotlight on us several times. The kids went wild. Ron called Judd from the airport and said that he did an excellent job sending them signals! Now that the US Government knows where we live, I'm sure they will do repeat flyovers. At least he has promised to come by again during the daylight. We will have to capture it on video. Three stars tonight- Mary Conlee, the ones God made, and the ones who serve our great nation. What a great way to end the day!
MC was so proud of her trophy. Notice Brody in the window?
