Last Days of School

We've had one big week at Parkway! On Tuesday, Mary Conlee and her fellow Kindergarten pals had a fun filled day. Two inflatable water slides kept them busy most of the day. They enjoyed a picnic lunch and playing with their friends. We have had a wonderful year full of fun, friends, and lots of learning. Thanks, Mrs. Farned for being the best Kindergarten teacher!

Yummy...popsicles!

Cole and the other 2nd grade students had a graduation and awards celebration on Wednesday. That was followed by an afternoon on the water slides. I expected Cole and his friends to be lined up waiting for their turn down the slide, but instead they were more interested in being social butterflies--laying out on their towels! They loved squirting Mrs. Godwin with the water shooters. She was a good sport! He has had a great year this year and loves his teacher very much. I know he will miss being a Parkway Panda.

My Journey

My Momma Told Me

A baby bird update! A few weeks ago, we took a peek into Cole's bird nest that he and Judd made in scouts. There was a nest already built. We had forgotten about it until last night. When we peeked in to see if there were any eggs, we found some sweet babies!

Proud parents of baby birds!!!
